Summary
In 2021 Clickon was appointed to work with Kemosabe, a full-service creative agency, to deliver a fully sustainable production solution for Japan’s largest 5-Star airline, ANA.
The objective was to deliver Kemosabe’s vision of the campaign, capturing off-the-beaten-track experiences across 6 regions of Japan from Hokkaido to Kyushu, that would then be used across a wider range of media channels including a brand new interactive hotspot website for consumers to explore and plan their itinerary based on their passions and interests.
A platform with a view
Using our teams on the ground in Japan we shot across a 6 week period capturing over 60+ locations and experiences without sending any teams from London.
The shoot was managed by our team in the London HQ using iQ to review and feedback on content as it was shot & uploaded to the platform giving real time feedback to the local team to ensure we captured high quality content to brief – saving time, investment and the brands carbon footprint.
Efficient, global collaboration
In addition to the Japan shoot, Clickon was also tasked with the organising and shooting of the A-List ambassador in New York City, who was fronting the campaign.
Using our team based in the New York City we sourced the location, liaised with the A-List stars team and arranged the full 1 day shoot.
Only 3 people from Kemosabe and 1 client flew to oversee the shoot and the entire process was managed through our creative workflow platform.
Accelerating the creative process
In addition to handling pre-production, IQ also allowed multiple projects to be created, each pre-populated with hundreds of assets varying in type from 16:9 video to 1:1 Instagram ad-units. iQ’s streamlined workflow removed the need for spreadsheets and confusing video links – instead providing a fast, effective way for teams to see where they were in the creative process.
Streamlined post-production
Our team delivered the full post production at our London HQ managing multiple stakeholders across London, USA, Europe and Japan via the iQ platform ensuring the post production was simple and easy for the client.
The post production included full edits, colour, grading, music design, animation, translation and subtitling.
A net-zero outcome
As official partners of the advertising industry’s sustainability body – Adgreen – all of Clickon’s productions are put through the Adgreen carbon calculator to ensure that the project is run in the most sustainable fashion possible.
The iQ platform facilitated an 88.5% reduction in carbon emission versus a traditional shoot model, saving 111.66 tonnes of carbon. This project was also delivered a 40% cost and 35% time savings. Coupled with trees planted on behalf of ANA and JNTO to the equivalent of 15,000kg with Trees for Life, this project was completed with a net-zero carbon outcome.
